A cette question souvent posée par des amis, je pourrai dorénavant répondre : « La chaise Neuilly! ». Je l’ai d’ailleurs également créée pour chez moi. Elle porte le nom de la ville où j’habite, en bordure de Paris et du Bois de Boulogne.
Quand on la découvre de dos autour d’une table, elle apparaît légère et d’une allure que j’espère intemporelle. Elle est naturellement accueillante avec son assise ronde, et agréablement enveloppante avec son dossier courbé qui se prolonge par des accoudoirs.
Mon souhait a été de trouver un équilibre entre une élégance familière et une élégance sophistiquée, celle des quartiers ouest de Paris. Mes amis apprécieront sans doute que l’esprit moderne et raffiné de ce bridge se décline également en tabouret de bar et en fauteuil accompagné de son pouf.
